(Montreal).

(Bath)

Horse Carriage Ride

Clip clop, clip clop, clip clop... this was a very romantic way to see the Bruges, a city located in the northwest of Belgium.

Let's start our ride!!!

The very friendly guide & horse carriage driver speaks English, Dutch and France throughout the one hour tour.

Sitting in a horse carriage make me feel like a royal family member, waving to the crowd...

One of New Seven Wonders of the World

New Seven Wonders of the World :

1. Great Wall of China (China)

2. Christ the Redeemer (Brazil)

3. Machu Picchu (Peru)

4. Roman Colosseum (Italy)

5. Taj Mahal (India)

6. Petra (Jordan)

7. Chichen Itza (Mexico)

Honorary Candidate. Great Pyramid (Egypt)

I have been to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World - Christ the Redeemer in Brazil.
Christ the Redeemer is located at the peak of the 700 metres Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park overlooking Rio de Janeiro.
This status of Jesus Christ stands 39.6 metres tall and took nine years to complete the construction, was opened in 1931.
To me, the statue of Jesus Christ with open arms looks like a christian cross.

World Cup 2014

I'm crazy for World Cup although i'm not a full time football fans.

In Brazil, 12 cities have being selected to host matches at 2014 World Cup and I have been to three of them - Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre! What is more exciting is, i visited the final venue for 2014 World Cup - Maracana Stadium!

Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro was opened in 1950, when Brazil hosted World Cup for the first time! This open air stadium is 50 years old now, and it is the largest stadium in South America with an all seated capacity of 88,992.

Let me show you around the stadium.

Last but not least, Maracana Stadium will also host the Openeing and Closing Ceremonies of the 2016 Olympics. I wish i will be there again..

Chile & Andes

Welcome to Chile!

I was in Santiago, Chile spring 2009. The weather was excelllent and I did some sight seeing in the city, as well as Andes.
Andes are the world's longest exposed mountain range. They lie as a continuous chain of highland along 7,000 km the western coast of South America, extend over seven countries : Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela. The highest peak, Aconcagua rises to 6,962 m above see level. (Mount Kinabalu, tallest mountain is Malaysia is 4,095 metres above sea leave)
It was spring and yet there was still snow on the mountain tops.
In winter, this is the best place for skiing and snowboarding.
The resorts and restaurant.
Enjoying a glass of hot chocolate with cream is the most wonderful time of my visit :)
